Gehl Food & Beverage and California Natural Products (CNP) are manufacturers as that term is defined in the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (the “Act”), California Civil Code Section 1714.43(a)(1)(the "Act"). Accordingly, pursuant to the requirements of the Act, Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP make the following disclosures:

  • Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP prohibit human trafficking and slavery in their product supply chains. Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP do not engage in third-party, independent or other verification to evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery in their supply chains.
     
  • Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP require that all direct suppliers, who provide materials or products to Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP, produce these materials and products in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as international laws, when applicable. Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP have sent to their suppliers a letter requiring their affirmation that, to the supplier’s knowledge, no human trafficking or slavery is involved in the production of materials or products supplied to Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP. Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP do not audit their suppliers, nor are audits conducted by an independent party.
     
  • Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP are developing internal accountability standards for employees and/or contractors who fail to meet Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP’s standards regarding human rights. Specifically, any employees and contractors who are found to be in violation of these standards will be dealt with appropriately, up to and including possible termination of our relationship with them.
     
  • Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP are regularly audited by certain customers and regulatory bodies, and some of these audits include requirements involving efforts to eradicate child labor, eliminate human trafficking, and adhere to applicable laws governing the employment of workers.
     
  • Gehl Food & Beverage and CNP are developing internal training for all company employees and management, who have direct responsibility for supply chain management, regarding human trafficking and slavery and mitigating risks within supply chains.
